Borgeson the only option?

I got a nasty clunking coming from the upper shaft of my steering and I need to replace that but I only see lower shafts being sold by Crown and others. Are there any other brands that sell the upper half of the steering shaft or do I have to shell out $$ for Borgeson?

Funny, I looked into this at one point as well, and I could not find ANY other option other than Borgeson, literally. In fact, I can't find the thread, but some guy asked a similar question about a year ago, and I think the consensus was the same. Pretty crappy if you ask me!

I'm in the same boat. I haven't been able to find any alternative to the borgeson - short of making one. I'm not sure I trust my skills for something as important as the steering shaft.
