Dealing with DW at 45-50. Replaced intermediate shaft to end of column. Moved wobble feel up to steering wheel. Steering wheel dry test, I hear a clunk in wheel. Grabbing lower u-joint and turning wheel feel looseness.

I saw this joint listed in an other post, but want to verify it fits. I entered my Jeep info on the Summit site. Thanks

Well, picked up the steering column. Biggest surprise, there’s not much to it. Just a shaft, and the end bolts to the upper steering shaft. I had replaced the upper and intermediate shaft a couple weeks ago. My clunk was due to the upper pinch bolt being too loose. Grabbed the 1/2” drive ratchet and socket, nice and tight. Checked the other two and they were fine. At the Black Hills in South Dakota right now, and Jeep worked great on the hairpin turns here. Still have some wobble at 45-50mph, it’s better but could use some more help. Once I get home I’ll get the wheels balanced.

Final update, hopefully, I redid the steering dry test, and saw that the drag link end (Crown ZJ upgrade), was loose. Trip to NAPA, and all is well. I did this before and the king nut was loose, after tightening, I didn't redo the dry test. Ooops.
