I love this forum and all the different personalities associated with it. However, my method is not forum approved.

Proceed with caution for this method is not for all.
You must have a lust for fun and adventure in your soul
And you have to laugh and snicker when others call you a fool
Friends will be made and enemies will fade
Days will turn to late nights where you will understand the need for good headlamps and rock lights
Once you cross that line it goes from Jeep to Rig
Just a tool used to conquer an obstacle and take you places others can not go
Stress levels will go down, smiles will grow
Giggles from hitting rocks will turn to laughter as others tell you that you should not do
You will dream and plan on how to turn that dream to memory
For once you start down the path the goal turns from having nice things
To ensuring you die with memories and not dreams.

Proceed with caution!

Victor, since the body and tank are out of the way, any functional reason other than time that you haven't pushed the rear axle back?

Two things.
1. Time being the biggest factor. I don't like my rig being down during wheeling season and wheeling season is 12 months long :). I need a block of time where I can just tackle it and get it done so the jeep is not on jack stands when a wheeling opportunity arises. Since I moved the tank I just have not had the time.
2. I love wheeling rock gardens and creek beds, and I am afraid of losing break over angle. I currently move through rock gardens much easier than my longer wheel base partners and I think this is due to my high belly and break over angle as well as my front being pushed forward and able to get up on rocks. I struggle on steep and I hate steep (most likely because I struggle), but steep is just part of wheeling so I got to make the change and do the stretch, I just need to accept the sacrifice before I do and I have not come to that acceptance yet. I have a current preliminary idea to push the rear back 7" while pushing my frame side control arms back the same 7" which will reduce some of the break over loss by keeping the brackets and control arms close to the tires. But due to Item 1 (time) I have not committed to putting it on jack stands,, drawing the chalk line, and pulling the trigger on the plasma yet.

This is what I was wondering about.
