Is this supposed to be a hint for those of us who have been following your MR2 story that you're finally getting your cams? 4 months isn't that long really...
Haha yeah. He was getting them grinded in Poland when they showed up on the website so I'm stoked they're finally shipping out to me. I was hoping to have it on the road by then though

i’ve got the new exhaust to installed on mine. hoping the down turn will keep from getting the fumes with a tailwind. it was not a pleasant trip down hill.
Yes it sucks. I was almost wondering if I was smelling yours after cold starts. But yesterday I walked around it and realized I could hear it coming out near the passenger door. Hopefully it just needs to be tightened... I did drive it before the exhaust gasket stuff cured without thinking so that could be part of it.
Not a bad price if it still smells after fixing the clamp up front. I'd be worried it'd be annoying AF with a muffler like that though
Idk if I didn't tighten it well enough or it came loose but I fixed the exhaust leak at the new clamp by tightening it.
Picked up a cheaper cover to keep the interior dry during soft top season... It's been raining a lot this year.
So I haven't messed with the coolant system but it is no longer overheating at idle, but now it slowly creeps up temps if I'm pulling up a long hill and cools right back down when load goes down. It's a mystery. We'll see when I find time to overhaul the coolant system and if I feel a need to do it during the season or just wait til Winter

Umm it was flushed and filled in October 21, though I've added some since then since the overflow keeps emptying somehow. So not too bad
Yeahh I do too still since the coolant has gotta be going somewhere. Got one in a box... When do I want to deal with it though. Thinking I'll put that radiator in I got from you at the same time while I'm at it
The MR2 is titled and insured finally. It's actually road legal the journey is over!!
Sweet! Now you can sell it and get a car that isn't almost as gay as a miata!
Is it running and driving? What else do you have planned?
Little go karts like MR2s and Miatas are fun to rip around in. But I don't really fit in them and I would think Trevor might have that issue as well.
I've only driven a miata once. It was fun until someone i knew saw me!
Just giving you some grief trev. Congrats on following a project all the way through. A lot of people can't manage that.
