Barnett cover: is this a problem?

I purchased this axle late April 2023. Here is the routing of mine which is way different than yours. It is notched only on the passenger side. My first thought when I pulled the cover was shouldn’t it be notched on the driver side? 🤷‍♂️

OK I see what they did. It's routed to the air fitting on the passenger side.
They do make a copper line repair kit but in your situation I'm not sure it'd help.

With the Currie cover the air line was clearing fine but the part of the cover circled was hitting the gusset and hitting the marked spot on the top of the cover also circle. The other rub marks were from the tie rod that’s been taken care off and lower marks are from rocks. IMG_3643.jpeg

Can you notch that cap? Rooting for you to get this sorted out.

Can you get Currie bumps to retain the spring?

Currie/RJ bumps do not retain the front coils.

When a typical front outboard is done with 11" travel Foxes and a 50/50 split using Currie/RJ 4" coils, the front coils do not need to be retained. Mine with 12s do unseat the coils by about 1/2", as I recall. Which is why I have my special secret keeper springs.

I have thought about switching to RJ springs for the longer travel. It will also lower my shock mount spacing which might help. I’m sitting at 5 inch’s with the rock Krawler 4.5 inch springs. My concern with that is it will probably make my track bar interference worse or happen sooner. If I looking at it correctly. I realize if I gain in one spot I seem to loose on the flip side. Anyway i think step one is clearing the track bar which might just be extra bend.

If you care about properly setting up the shocks, then these are things you figure out.
