Backup camera comes on with reverse and marker lights

So when I installed my new stereo, I wired the backup camera to the wire that goes up to the rear view mirror pig tail. I swear it was all working normally but now when I turn on the marker lights and/or head lights, the stereo turns on the backup camera and I can't figure out why.

Anyone have any ideas?

All other lights, backup lights etc work normally... and it also goes onto camera mode when put in reverse...

@Jamison C probably knows , my guess is the stereo is tied to the same circuit as the market lights and needs to be on a separate circuit ...or the back up camera power is tied to them ...there are some complex loops on a TJ's wiring.

Sounds like two wires are touching that shouldn't be.

I don't understand why is it wired to the mirror pigtail ? I believe mine is wired to power and ground, not to a reverse wire. I would have to look to be sure. I wanted to be able when it turned on not just in reverse. When I turn on the camera button it defaults to the front camera, then I can switch to the rear one.
