I broke the rear glass on my 2006 TJ.
Glass company have already ordered 3 new ones, and when we tried to mount the wiper motor we had numerous issues.
1) The mounting holes in the wiper motor plate on my TJ are 7-1/2” ( + or - 1/4”) center to center and all the new glasses measure 6-1/2” between the mounting holes
2) The mounting hole in the new glass for the wiper blade shaft is only 2-1/2” down from the top of the new glass, and the same hole on the old glass was 4” down from the top of the glass. Glass won’t close as wiper motor interferes with top cause it’s mounted to high.
What I would like is for someone with a 97-02 with rear wiper (and heated glass) to measure these two locations so I can see if possibly someone installed a 97-02 rear glass previously.
And someone with an 03-06 to do the same and provide me with these dimensions.
