I remember reading at one point that the 32 has a check valve somewhere in the cooler line circuit. I had a crimped line and a hole on the TJ when I bought it, so I replaced the lines with rubber hose. I get a bit of delay when shifting to reverse, especially after it sits for a while. I was reading that this could be due to a lack of a check valve and the fluid draining out of the lines when sitting. Does anyone know where the valve is located stock, and what kind of valve it is? I was hoping to simply add an inline valve somewhere if at all possible.

Goes between the radiator and transmission where the hardline meets the rubber hose.

Do we need it,or take it out?

I plan on installing mine when the 32rh goes in. It should eliminate any lag when put into gear and keep trans fluid from draining back when the jeep sits for longer amounts of time.
