Fuel line check valve 99 tj

Need to add a fuel line check to keep the fuel from draining back. Seems like a simple fix except my fuel line is all steel. Everyone says don't cut the fuel line and use rubber hose cause it won't hold the pressure. Is there a compression check valve. Could use some help which way should I go. You could point me in the right direction for a compression valve

There's a check valve in the fuel pump assembly. You need to drop the tank and replace it or the fuel pump assembly itself. Just do the whole thing since you have to drop the tank anyways. There is no reason to cut the fuel line.
