Fuel management valve clamp / pump issue

I was finally after months getting around to swapping my 2004 I6 fuel pump ( It had been pretty reluctant to start multiple times unless it sat for a while {to build pressure??}) and as I was looking around the tank ready to undo lines and drop it I noticed the fuel management valve(?) falls freely out of its connection.

The clamping tab in the connector appears to be gone and while the valve stays in place it certainly isn’t snug or air/ liquid tight. I lightly tugged and it popped right out.

So I guess what is the process to fix clamp? Parts names/ numbers?

And any chance this is what was causing jeep not to start??

See pics. Any insights greatly appreciated

It appears that all the connections are simple friction fit that relies on the flexibility/tension of the hose so any small worm drive should do the trick. Tighten down gently as you do not need much tension and those plastic connections could snap or crack. You might also consider just tracing the hose to see if that is easily replaced instead of trying to clamp.

That one with the fitting of it is NOT a friction fit. There is a horseshoe clip that keeps it in place. Dorman sells replacements or one can thread a zip tie through the holes the clip used to occupy.
