i’ve been dealing with a slow start condition for a while and i did confirm with a pressure tester that my check valve was letting fuel back into the tank. but i’ve been noticing it’s gotten a little bit better. i don’t have to prime my system a few times anymore to get it going but it’s still slow to get running. before dropping my tank i’d like to explore options that frees up the oem parts. things like sea foam and all that. any recommendations?

I can think of a couple of solvents like ATF or Marvel Mystery Oil. But getting it in and out without dropping the tank or contaminating your fuel will be the tricky part.

You could try a product like Techron or similar. Seafoam is mainly alcohol and alcohol is a pretty decent solvent so maybe. Try getting some Techron and filling up with a tank of E15 and Techron mix. And yes, your Jeep will run on E15 just fine. The slightly higher alcohol content will act as a solvent.

If you have a mechanical problem, no amount of in tank cleaner will fix anything.
