Hi,
Final update, the cooper seats are in. Brackets painted.
I actually sit lower than the stock seats, what is great (i'm 6.5, 198cm).
I now do not hit the roll bar with my head and have a better position to look outside.
Installed also aftermarket seat belts with the proper seat belt buckle that fits the cooper catch. (apparently there are many different sizes, the coopers are type A). My original seat belts where also end of life and would not pass inspection. Some custom breakers where needed to mount them properly at the bottom.
I like the setup a lot. The total price was very good in the end (not calculating the hours i spend as an amateur
, but working on the TJ is actual fun to do). The cooper seats have a bit of a bolster, makes it a bit harder to get out and in the car. But sitting while driving is much better. Did not drive long distances yet.
