I have a 2004 Wrangler RME with a hard top that is in average condition. I know NOTHING about these things and need some help. I am trying to assess the Jeeps value for a private sale and none of the online estimators seem to have a RME as a choice. Thoughts? TIA

Pics of the jeep in general especially the frame will determine value. The RME edition won't add a ton of value but does offer the dana 44 rear, painted flares etc that most people like.

RME is not a model, it's an option package on the X model. So you would select 2004 Wrangler X, and then if given the option to add packages, select RME. Otherwise, it's probably a similar value to a Sport, roughly.

Thanks that’s what I’m really looking for. Just how to get through the Edwards or other sites without any of them having that package as a choice. Thanks all!

These are at the point that blue book values almost mean nothing. Members here have a way better gauge on the market.

I just purchased a 2004 TJ Rocky Mountain Edition. While I've had many different vehicles (on & off-road) this is my first Jeep. How do I find the stock features and differences of the RME?

I just joined up a few days ago because the wife bought a jeep in a box. No I am not kidding it came in several boxes. After looking at photos I have finally figured out where just about everything goes. Just did a new fuel pump yesterday and drained a full tank of 5yr old gas.....ahh the smell.

I have NEVER owned a jeep of any kind before, about the closest thing you could say I came to one is coming close to buying an M151, not a jeep but that is as close as it got.

This post is a god send for me, at least now I know I need to sent the standard fender flair I just ordered back. Live and learn.
