Got the side markers in today. Problem is, hell, I don't know what the problem is, but I got the 3 wire because I thought I was going to double up and use the sidemarkers as turn signals, but I changed direction and so, I only hooked up two of the wires, the black and white, not the red. Now I have the flickering thing. What now? This sucks. I hope it's simple.

Which flasher do you have? You need an EP27L I believe.

I don’t have any flasher. I just hooked up the black and white to the two wires, got light and called it a day. When I went to play in the snow at the ORV, I used the turn signal and it started flickering real fast. I’ll look into the EP27L. Thank you!

The LED lights you installed don’t have enough resistance to make the flasher relay work properly, the system thinks it has a light out, it happens when you install LED taillights too. That’s why the need for a new flasher relay, good news is you use less amps.

Been working to get everything cleaned up (temps are in the 30’s and a lot if snow outside, maybe 50-55 in the garage). I still have more to go, just the location of winch cables and things like that. When I got into the winch it needed more attention than I thought. Back to new now and wires rerouted under the grill for a cleaner look in the wheel well. I mentioned I installed the side markers. You can see them now. I want to paint that strip on the side of the grill flame red, so that’s coming. I cleaned, scuffed, prepped, self etch primed, and painted the inner fender with bed liner today. Before and after below.

Wasn't completely ready for as much show as we got Wednesday but we survived our first storm in WA, luckily we got the truck completely unloaded before it started

I was wondering where you were in the move. That was the biggest snow we’ve had since we arrived in August of 2018. Glad you got everything inside first. We went out to the ORV so the kids could have a 250 foot bomb of a sled run and I’d haul them back up for another round!

Let me know when you want these MC extended shock mounts. They’re taking up space on my workbench. Along with 900 other things! I could bring them by sometime or you can come over if you want to take a break. Happy New Year!
