Am I wrong? ;)

I would also add that you wheel your Jeep alot and often with your family. So you would take full advantage of the beadlock wheels. Being able to air down will, in theory, provide more capability and a bit better ride offroad. Seems like it would benefit everyone in the Jeep one way or another.

The ONLY other beadlock I would recommend is actually cheaper, Walker Evans Racing beadlock. And they look really good too.
What about raceline? What makes the TR and Walker Evans superior?

Good point, with a set of Monster’s it would still have the “Hot Wheels“ look.

Oh shoot, does JMT have an instagram? If he does, he better only be shopping for racelines. 😂

Joking...

I wouldn't say superior. There is no doubt TR’s forged stuff is superior, they build their forged wheels in house using domestic materials. That and they have a pretty proven track record with their US made quality for a while now.

I suggested Trailready based on how their polished HD wheels look. I just think they would look best on his Flame Red TJ.

I suggested the Walker Evans based on his feedback on the TR price. The Walker Evans are close to $400 each which are some of the most affordable real beadlock wheels that still look aesthetically pleasing.

Racelines might be cheaper, they are Chinese, so.... But I would bet they are not cheaper. They are likely built in the same factory in China as the Walker Evans but yet charge more..they have too much invested in marketing to be priced in the low $400’s from the factory. (Based on 17’s to accommodate big brakes)

I wouldn't run a Walker Evans wheel personally, as I would prefer to air up and down with a powertank and their monster valve. Powertank’a monster valves are difficult to make work on a WE wheel (not impossible)

edit: IIRC, Raceline offers a forged wheel that I believe is made in the USA.

I’ve seen the race lines as low as $200 each lately

I googled it, at that $200 price point are they real or fake beadlocks?

Does Raceline have any issues with knockoffs being sold out there?

It’s the only negative point I can think of with that price point...I’m guessing you are getting those quotes from certified/reputable Raceline dealers?

I actually think that 2nd one, the
Rt 81 Rock 8 looks really cool.
I kinda like that one too
I have had a soft spot for soft 8’s. I’ve got two in my backyard with 35’s mounted. I know the guy with the other two. I might get them just to have the set. They’ve turned into extra seating.

Hmmm all this bead lock talk is dangerous lol.Ya know I do need mud terrains? 🤔

Ummm never mind please return to your regular scheduled program.

And yes Moab, let’s do that.
I still like my Cooper STT Pro’s (24,000mi) and tempted to get another set, though the General Grabber’s are very tempting.
