@JMT the cat is out of the bag now...

Any luck on the vibrations? Are you sticking with the 37's for now or?

The transfer case was hard into a bolt on the savvy crossmember and it almost put a hole in the transfer case. I corrected that so I don’t get those vibrations.

The oil pan skid was hard against the transmission pan and I corrected that so I’m not getting those vibrations.

The transmission cooling lines were against the tub, and I moved them away and so I’m not getting any vibrations from there. I still have more to check in terms of things touching, but I corrected the rear pinion and got up to 77 miles an hour with only the rear driveshaft in and did not have any driveline vibrations

That's great news..... Glad you are getting it all sorted out. I'd be happy with being able to cruise @ 70-75 MPH. So the front driveshaft is next? See how it goes then?

Exactly. I have to correct the TCase shifter linkage at the TCase lever and I’m waiting on a part from Gerald. Then I can put the front driveshaft in and start working on getting it as happy as I can.

That is a lot of stuff to be sorting out.

Wow, BIG news Jeremy! I haven’t been on the forum much in the last several days. I need to pay attention. Love your new rig👍

Yeah, it really is big news. Lots for me to think about. I hope it turns out pretty rad. It’s got lots of good parts on it. Just need to get everything playing nice together. It’s a bit like herding kindergarteners. Thank you Mike.

I never know what to expect on Father’s Day. I guess wheelin’ can have a profound effect on your kids. This from my youngest daughter.

Your kids know you well... You gave her a BIG hug right?

The biggest! She said I was crushing her. LOL. Well, that’s what I did with my Jeep, so I have a knack for it.
legend...

It’s great.

One time I got a card from my oldest son (oldest by 2 minutes, he’s a twin). The card had a drawing of a Jeep with big tires and underneath it said 29’ers! He got that a bit wrong, but we’ve got years of mileage out of that one.

I had a eerie sense of Deja vu reading that.

Congrats on your LJ and I hope you can fix it to be what you want it for the trail.

Thanks Sri. I’m very optimistic it will be a great trail rig. 🙂 I’d been looking for awhile! This one followed my build philosophy, so it’s a good start.
