One thing I'd say for the inner fenders is to offer a uncut version also. This would be for those who have coilovers or moved their coil mounts.

I like the round rocker rub rails...

agree with both of those points. I’ll line up for the rub rails and I would like blank inners that I can custom cut for coil overs.

I like the round rails but I would want the spacer mounts to the tub to be more flush.

Either way I'm excited to watch the fenders evolve! put me on the list, i'll have cash waiting.

Yes, they are just made to order right now. I have had a few that want them but have not committed to an order. Are you wanting them for the TJ?

Ya I’d want mini boat sides for a tj with the square rub rail, corner armor for a tj but no bolts on the inside of the tire opening since I’ve cut out my opening and don’t know if they would fit, the tub rub rail, your highlines with the removable flare front and back, valance with the pods cut, and rear bumper. It’s such a big order though but I’d like to limit shipping costs too so I’m holding off on actually putting a request bc I don’t have that much money yet but want to have that money by spring/summer.

Believe me I understand. I have been trying to build a rig I could wheel and not have to drive it to work on Monday for 20 years. I have been close a few times but no cigar. I may be able to make it happen in 2026.

Took me until I'd come home from Iraq to own a 2nd vehicle. Used to have a motorcycle but that didn't work in the winter for me a lot of the time.

Looking forward to your fenders and flares for them. Now I'm going to have to replace all my stuff.... Again...

I built a bender for the rub rail a few months ago but it did more kinking when bending then I liked. I redesigned it and it and REV 2 works really well, that's a win! The desired material is .75x1.25 6061 Bar Stock.

I over bent this test piece a small amount but the bend is nice and smooth. Cold forming this thickness is not easy and dialing in the radius of the inside die is very specific to this size.

Also started test fitting the inner fenders. You guys have spent a lot more time stuffing tires into fender wells testing what hits and what fits. If you have any personal experience in this area please post your thoughts I want the most real estate for goods but don't want the tires playing with parts they shouldn't. I like the larger radiuses and the direction. I need to make some small changes for battery clearance. The battery mount will be the same 304 stainless used on other parts.

Started messing with a 1.25" round bar stock rocker rub rail. I am waiting on quotes for the sample. Do you like the round stock or the rectangle stock? I would trim the rash guard and add a fastener.

Can you extend the rub and steel part wheel well to wheel well?

I like the way Artec did there innfer fenders.

Is the curve on yours to fit the shape of the grill?

It looks like Artecs design eliminates any and all usable space for your fuse box etc. do you have them and if so post a pick of the engine bay side please.

Oh yep, just saw that. Not really applicable then. The regular fenders don’t suffer from the same where do I put all this stuff issue the highlines do. I will add a bracket that bolts the main liner to the grill, but there will be a 1/2 inch gap letting out heat and eliminating vibration noise. When sheet metal is that close things start making noises that will make me want to rip my face off lol. This why the OEs use rubber splash shields to fill gaps. Things can flex and remain quiet.

I am really trying to keep the bends to a minimum the room for the fuse box, vacuum box etc to a maximum. I like the larger bend radius’s the overall idea will remain. I will add an uncut version for those running coilovers.

I was hoping to see some pics of 35s or 37s stuffed and turned to see where we are running into potential interference issues.

If your running 40s your most likely running wider axles and the potential interference issues go away.

I am appreciative of everyone’s perspective and input.

Thanks guys!

Can you show us the opposite side? I'm curious how much more fender clearance your highlines will provide. I question because out of the MFG's true highline fenders, I'm finding that even with a 1.5"-2" forward stretch, 40's still hit the inner fenders.

I think this is what your asking for, I may be misunderstanding the question. The red line would be the top of your OE fender. If you are running 40s then I would assume you are running full width or wider axles. This should make it harder to contact the inner fenders, when turned to full lock you also have the radius of the tire falling away from the inner fender.

"I'm finding that even with a 1.5"-2" forward stretch, 40's still hit the inner fenders" @sierradmax Please post a pic if you have it or show where you are seeing interference with 40s. I put a 40 inch circle with dims from tub to center line if that helps. Are you seeing contact at the bottom area close to the rocker?

This is of course not turned, just seemed easier to compare dims in this orientation.
