just don't want my kids breathing second hand smoke.
Ah yes, but remember smokers of all sorts think they are entitled to spread their fucking AIR POLLUTION everywhere and subject everyone to it.

While I do get where you're coming from regarding common courtesy, maybe a little dramatic. Whatever you do, don't do research into the breakdown of what you're currently breathing daily. Trust that public smokers will fall well down the list of people/entities you'll hate for polluting the air, if they don't fall off the list altogether. Lebowskis aren't really the problem here, but likely the most visual one so they'll attract the attention.
Its all about the concentration. I can smell a smoker even 2 or 3 cars ahead of me.

How do you feel about airborne particulates from pre-DPF (and deleted) diesels?

I love driving my Chevy K10 because it has no cats. That's an awesome smell.
My oldest daughter says when she is around our 71 C-10 it gives her good memories of her childhood being driven around in our 80 K - 20 Suburban .
The pre - cat exhaust odor brings back memories .
I’ll bet it does. I never grew up in that time but having owned enough older vehicles I have grown to love that as well.
How did I miss pages of this thread.
About an hour or two ago, I had some THC infused chocolate syrup in my hot cocoa this morning.
Then read through these pages while eating a bowl tortilla chips and a jar of salsa.

She's 38 , I would have thought you would be just a little older. A dialed in pre-cat engine gets a good exhaust odor . But a oil burning , running rich engine can be nasty !
I grew up in SoCal in the 60's. That's before unleaded gas and no seat belts were required in most cars.
Those days one could actually see the air they were breathing because it was a brown haze and really bad in the summer.
After a few hours most of us kids were just wheezing by mid day watching the brown haze roll in from the LA area.
Then the Santa Ana winds would blow it back towards LA and the OC, along with the trash cans.
And what a time to be growing up in SoCal in the 60's & 70's, learning about sex, drugs and rock&roll,
from what I remember tho....
