I can see there's some sand laying inside the frame and I want to get it out before it causes any damage. What's the consensus regarding the easiest way to clean that out?

Thanks!

Compressed air on one end

Vacuum taped to largest hole you can find on the other

I attached a short length or garden hose to the end of power washer. The amount of debris that flushed out was insane.
I did it as part of the prep for Fluid Film and repeated it more than half a dozen times.. until there was nothing left to wash out.

Drill your 4 half inch drain holes and then flush with water.

I recently did mine, so I will give some advice, which also applies to drilling out your track bar mount. Don't be stubborn or lazy, just put on the gloves and long sleeves! Sitting there saying "ow, shit" over and over is dumb!

This ain't no lie...... and I was dumb because I kept laying there yelling crap over and over and still have some scar marks on both arms. I went larger than 1/2 inch.

After u get the 4 holes drilled. Remove bumpers and drill 5/8 hole into rear to get into frame straight in.
Get a “Clog Hog” and go at it. You will see all sorts of stuff wash out of the frame.
I did mine in August and we just did my sin in law’s 2000 yesterday.

Oh sorry, I mean when I drilled out the frame side track bar mount for the larger bolt on the Rock Jock bar. That mount is pretty thick and the shavings that come off the bit are big and HOT!

Ah, ok. That makes sense - I was thinking I needed drain holes in the track bar mount, and didn't understand the how/why of it! :D
