The Silver Fox LJ Build

If you need a hydraulic crimper I have one you can use.

I will definitely need one. I think I’m going to turn the rig around in the garage and see if it fits so I can work on the driver side. When I figure that out I can disconnect the battery so I can work on it. I need to get the cables on order so maybe I can get to it sometime between Thursday and Saturday. Can I can come by the dealership and pick up sometime next week? I was going to buy one, but I have absolutely no place for more tools. Two of my drawers have had the bottom fall out in the last couple months. I need to fix them, but it all takes time and there really isn’t enough space for anything anyway.

This should work for a battery tie down. Thanks for the good ideas.

The only issue in this design is that it doesn't allow much adjustment if it needs to strap down more than the tolerance you built in. However, you can just wedge something(s) in that top piece if you need to.

Don’t forget to move the pcm up and route the pdc harness under the battery box.

I need your help/advice with this. The PDC harness is in the normal position around the upper left corner of the PCM and then down and under the battery box. I can’t move it to the right side because an offshoot of wires goes to the plug on the upper left of the PCM. I don’t know where else it can go?!

How do you move the PCM up? It’s mounted to a bracket that’s welded to the firewall. Cut all that off and use nutserts? It would move it back, away from the battery, which would be nice.

True, true. Something to ponder.

That is interesting...There isn't a standard gage size for 25mm² wire...Smaller that 3 ga, but bigger than 4 ga

Also interesting...Another "standard" table that has different mm² sizes for AWG

All I know is I've never seen that and all I did was test fit a few lugs to get the size that fit the best which was 4 gauge. The SAE part messes me up a bit.

WTH is standard metric? 25mm squared SAE?

I hate the metric system. I’ve got a friend who has dedicated several hours a year to make fun of it. He’s not even from America. He’s from Ukraine.

We were looking at skis a couple years ago and you wonder how long they are and it says something like 297mm. I’m like, WTH is that? Have to go convert every time.

I removed the cats to replace them and this cut was there right where they mate to the manifold. Can I just weld it up and grind it smooth?

Skis for what, a baby? That's like a foot. My skis before I started boarding were 180-205cm and my snowboards are 164-169cm (which would be 1640-1690mm or roughly 64.6-67" for you followers of the crown) :ROFLMAO:
