If anyone else is interested Group of us are going to Clayton, OK to wheel Sept 25-28. We are going to be wheeling Rugged Mountain Ranch Fri Sept 26 and Green Acres on Sat Sept 27. I have not been to RMR yet and am excited to check it out. As of right now, Green Acres is my favorite place to wheel and this will be my third time to Green Acres. If you like non-stop rocks and technical wheeling, this is the place. We will be in the middle of nowhere and wheeling non-stop. This is not a do one trail and go find a Mexican restaurant type trip. Big non-stop rocks will have you questioning life decisions. Stuff will be broke, feelings will be hurt, someone will say something that will will put your panties in a twist, and then it will get dark and the fun will begin. If interested, shoot me a message so I can try and talk you out of it.

Both parks are foreal!!

Been to twin mountains? I ran the inaugural King of the Off Road event. It was 3 days, 3 parks and 300mi of road driving. Twin Mountains was day 2 of the event. The red trail began difficult and finished on a buggy trail. The scrambler is on 40s

I checked out some videos and will definitely add Twin Mountains to the list of future parks to check out. thanks for the info.
This video uses Clutch as the music, so they had me right there:
But then this rear steer Cummins convinced me I have to go:

Two days of playing around on some trails. Day 1 was spent at Crossbar Ranch in Davis, OK. Day 2 was spent on some fun hills at Lake Frederick. Crossbar has some serious rock crawling trails, and it’s a good place to test your skills. A cousin of mine busted his rear axle shaft towards the end of the day. With some redneck engineering, we got it back to an area where we could load it on the trailer.

As of yesterday, Crossbar is closed…maybe. Apparently, there’s some issues between the City of Davis and the folks that lease the property. Hopefully, it’ll get worked out, but things are sketchy right now. I’m planning on going to an adventure bike rally in November at Crossbar, but it might not happen now. The rally is called Rock Fest if anybody is interested.

Wow, that would suck. And make the Western 2/3rds of Oklahoma even more of a wheeling wasteland than it already is (compared to where I came from anyway).

There’s still not a definite answer if it will remain open. They’re not taking any reservations for the campsites, and I believe that all the folks camping were asked to leave on Tuesday. I’m not on Facebook so I’m a little out of the loop on the current conversations happening about it, but it’s sketchy at best. One of the main guys involved with Rock Fest is optimistic, but everything is up in the air.
