Marker light sample tester(s) needed

Pictures of what they would mount into?
Mounted within the hole here for a recessed marker light.

Wow these are bright! I wish they were on the market when I did the JK lights, I really love how clean the fender looks with them installed (I need to find a new grille anyway due to other damage, so eventually will drop the now dead JK housings).

Install is simple, I just fished them through the holes, backed them in - and plugged them into the bulb socket for the original turn signals (I had to flip one of the connections over). I need to find another relay, last time I tried LEDs in the JK housings I couldn't get it to play nicely and left those as incandescent bulbs - this new look is a forcing function to address that again.

Try a Novita LM470 flasher. You can get it at Napa/AA. Relays you have to play with, I guess.

Also, can you post up a photo of those marker lights at night (with headlights turned on and off if you can)? Would be great for other folks to see.

I think I meant just the flasher :) I will try that one out!

Great idea on the added pictures. I will try to remember to do that while I am out tonight.

I need some or a few folks to test some plug and play lights for me.
Requirements-
Using the grommet mount 3/4" round AMBER LED turn signal/marker light due to a higher clearance front fender or high line fender install.
Factory wiring is not cut or hacked. These plug right into the lamp connector for the front marker/turn signal.

Get in touch if you can assist. I'll get pics here in a bit.

I’d be happy to be a tester. Don’t mind purchasing them. They will go into my Genright Highline fenders.

This works, thank you! There's a slight phantom flicker in the cluster (none of the exterior lights), but I can live with that. I'll try to get some night time pictures in the next day or so.

Glad to hear. Spread the message :)

Did you learn this from those that know more, or did you have to guess and check for a while?

I found a really good forum thread a while ago. I had a good chat with @mrblaine after finding that and he tested and confirmed the findings. The GCD ones work on some but not all TJs which is the main source of confusion. Novita LM470 seems to work everywhere and is the right choice. Lot of forum confusion on this topic due to several overlapping issues and people not looking at the full picture.

If my photo is not what you are looking for to test please let me know so that I can purchase the lights elsewhere to finish my project.

My apologies for the confusion. I'm not sure what you were offering to do since what I have won't work in stock form in that spot.

I misunderstood the request believing these were for side markers, not the fronts. The attached is what I was going after for the side and will be doing the same on the front. 3D printing housings for 3/4" LEDs.

Is this the connector the 3/4" round Amber LED fit into? I keep looking at the pic in post #3, but I can't tell.

This pic shows it. That connector you are referencing is what the adapter from Jeep plugs into. Then the lamp plugs into that.

Well crap, I don't think I have that. Back to my parts bin to look. It was the round part that was throwing me when searching for the Jeep 3157 socket. I think I may be able to get one of those though.

If I had this your lights would work, right?
