Happy Sunday all, I've been having an issue w/ my 99 TJ a/t sport having an intermittent crank but no start issue. Today I was visually inspecting the engine bay wiring and found what appears to be a severed ground wire. Does anyone recognize this and can tell me what this goes to? Not an electrical expert by any stretch, but I don't think this is the cause of my problem since it is completely severed and my start/no start issue is intermittent... but open to ideas here. Thanks!
I've attached pics of the suspect ground wire.
Note: I started the jeep this morning, fired right up, idled for 10-15 seconds and then died. Restarted it again, same thing. Third attempt, now it doesn't start at all, just cranks endlessly.
