The 2006 has a NGC controller and I would expect the 04 to have a JTEC, the ASD circuits are different. The ASD/fuel pump relays are remaining engaged when the engine is cranking?

If the ASD relay, fuel pump relay etc remain engaged during cranking the PCM is seeing a CPS signal. If the PCM doesn’t see a CPS signal within 2-3 seconds of the ignition switch being turned on it will time out and drop the ASD relay ground shutting the relay off and subsequently the fuel pump.

Bilstein’s are a better product from a quality standpoint and you already have experience with them so you know what you’re getting into.
