Chris update:Did he sell the silver one?
I already did it.... But I'm not part of the KEWL kids club...So who is going to be the first to do the stretch?
Once it's back together you can apply for membership. During Moab, the committee will come together to process your application.I already did it.... But I'm not part of the KEWL kids club...![]()
I’m so bummed I have to miss Moab. If my competition season gets cancelled with covid then I’m totally in though.Once it's back together you can apply for membership. During Moab, the committee will come together to process your application.
If you miss it you may need to come up and run the Rubicon Trail. You can drag Chris up with you.I’m so bummed I have to miss Moab. If my competition season gets cancelled with covid then I’m totally in though.
It’s on the bucket list. Next time you California guys do a big run let me know and I may just make the trek!If you miss it you may need to come up and run the Rubicon Trail. You can drag Chris up with you.
We try to plan a run in September. This year we couldn't because of fire season but hopefully 2021 we'll go again. It’s on the bucket list. Next time you California guys do a big run let me know and I may just make the trek!
I’ve been mulling over the stretch for a while now honestly. Not sure what will happen but the first priority is the PSC install and the raised body mounts. I have those parts here, just need to start.
You have NO excuse now since it isn't 120* in your garage anymore.... So get on it....
Not like I have any room to talk.
Have him give you a welding lesson also. I picked up a Miller 211 and it's been amazing. After watching @Midnight LJR use it a bunch of times I finally feel confident to use it.It would be a rabbit hole, that's for sure. I'd need to buy a welder (and you know me, I won't buy a cheap one) and probably a bunch of other tools
The PSC install should be easy. I can get it installed in a day or two and then drive it to @pc1p to have him weld up the assist brackets for me.
Don’t forget the plasma cutterI think I honestly will buy a welder sometime soon. I feel like owning a Jeep it’s just a necessity that will end up paying for itself ten times over.
For a stretch? Cut the frame in front of the brackets and move the entire assembly backwards. So those who already have the mid arm, would you cut off your brackets then cut the frame or deal with the bend in the frame?

There is a lot packed into that statement that will explain why a stretch is a big job and why so many go with a fuel cell.
The thought of having a slightly longer driveshaft is appealing![]()
