Yesterday my passenger side outer door handle decided to shit the bed, thankfully I could still open from the inside. So I took the inner panel off (every single retaining clip broke, and I do this for a living) and saw that the metal bar that is on the handle and moves the linkage had bent out of the way. Got a pair of vise grips on it to bend back into place and it snapped off with very little force. Looks like the two pieces of metal had worn each other down over the past 15 years. Took a look at the drivers side and the same wear pattern was evident. So, quadratec to the rescue, ordered a pair of crown replacement handles, they come with the retaining wedges, and they should be here Wednesday. I'll check work for new panel clips before I go to Amazon. I had been wanting to paint the rusty handles anyway, guess this saves me that trouble
