What did you do to your TJ today?

Bought a set of half doors ($250). Besides the lousy paint, it's in great shape. Interior trim is intact and the door handles work. Since I'm still debating whether or not I'm going to paint the Jeep a different color, I probably won't paint them black yet.

That’s a steal! I almost bought a set this week with the uppers for $350! I’m kicking myself for not, but I’m saving up for a new lift since the PO did a rough country and it’s awful in the dirt

Installation error(s). Among other things wrong the linkage was adjusted incorrectly and holding the locker partially engaged. Not Ox’s fault at all.

Here’s how the shims were installed if that tells you anything...

I doubt the shims were " installed" that way. When the locker is engaged and under load/housing flex those things can happen. Maybe too little preload.... Maybe too much?

Got the starter from Napa, and that was my first thought, bad starter. It did the exact same thing.
I’m gonna rap it with a hammer and see what happens. Maybe take foo the access plate(auto trans) and look at the flywheel and torque converter.
I hope it as simple as a bad starter.
I worked in auto parts for many years, and if you told me you have the SAME problem with the New starter. Well that must not be the problem.
Take jumper cable and test both the old and new starters.

Previously I installed a separate wiring harness for the headlights which increased voltage to the headlights (11.3 to 14.1V). This modification increased the amount of light the headlights produced plus reduced the load on the factory headlight wiring and MFS. Today I installed a set of Hella E code headlight housings and H4 60/55 W bulbs.
The Hella H4s produce a good amount of light for $77 and are not near as expensive as LED headlights. I am not fond of the higher wavelengths (5000K and higher) that most headlight manufacturers use.
which harness did you install?

Got my Geocache bug for my Jeep and put it on it. Now to wait to see how long it takes someone to log it. :D And no, it's not purple. LOL Although I may have to try to make my own on my vinyl cutter. :D

Installed a Banks Monster cat back. I’m not a huge fan of cat backs but at some point in my LJs previous life someone had a redneck “tuck” job done on the stock exhaust, including a 3 foot glasspack! So the Banks system is actually a little quieter, but still has a nice rumble without being obnoxious. I like it.

Also ordered mucket seals which my Jeep never had, always wondered why water came in all over my arm in the rain.

Right angle CB mic connector:

Now the mic cord doesn't get tangled up with the gearshift knob. Mic clip is temporaried on, I was lamenting the lack of metal surfaces to stick a magnetic mic holder on, when I realized that the CB radio bezel is steel!
What Stereo is that again? I scrolled around and couldn't find it. Is that the one that has amber backlighting?

AZ is great man. There’s enough jeeps here that some people don’t quite know what their parts are worth. I picked a set up for $200 a couple weeks ago.

Yup. You beat me to the punch on those. lol

By the time I reached out after work, he told me they had sold. Since those had a khaki interior, I would've had to paint them dark slate grey though

Half doors for $200 or $250 must be nice. I passed on a color matched set for $650 recently and have been kicking myself since.
