Best 37 inch tires for on & off-road? Want something quiet but good grip.

Yeah debating either MTR's or KM3s. I have KM2s MT 35in on right now but they are not the best on snow. How are the MTR's on snow/rock/highway?

I bought them to replace my Iroks which were awesome in snow, rock, mud, but sucked on the highway and I wanted to get back into not using my trailer on every trip. In snow and rock there just as good at my Iroks IMO, way better on the street but I still don’t drive it very much on the street. In mud they work way better than expected. Not as good as the Iroks but with a little wheel speed they clean out pretty good. I think they are every bit as good as when I ran Cooper SST’s or any other MT tire I’ve run with

Nice, thanks for the info! Ill defiantly look into it a bit more

Just an update after 2 years - I ran 37s on dana44 axles, just upgraded to RCV front shafts & chromoly rear shafts & jeep wheeled like a champ through the whole Fordyce & Rubicon couple times no issues. Took it through some pretty good obstacles

Blasphemy! Did your Jeep explode and burst into flames?

I’d make sure you’re setup well for 35s first, it’s pretty common knowledge here that 35s is really the max on a TJ unless you wanna go $20k in.

This is a good thread to give you an idea on the requirements for 35s.
So you want to run 35” tires on your TJ?

This is also a good guide for just for 33s vs 35s
A comparison of building for 33s and 35s

Also lots of good threads on here about others asking about 37s that you should read.
That’s a good lookin Rubi you’ve got!

Toyos MTs, great grip on snow & rock!! A little loud in road though

Good tire, and so are the R/T is also a decent tire. Everyone complains they are heavy tires but my little 4 popper spun 35" M/T's no problem.

Was just looking and they now have a R/T Trail version. The R/T's are a middle tire between a A/T & a M/T which I'm surprised more tire manufactures haven't done yet.

Have you thought running ball joint deletes?

The R/T trail tire looks amazing. I seen a set last week. I should have taken some pictures. I’m sure it’s going to become a very popular tire.

Cool, I'll have to keep a look out for some reviews on them.
