What did you do to your TJ today?

Changed the crank positioning sensor and she starts much better. Also idles better if that makes sense.
What were the symptoms prior? Mine idles kind of rough despite new plugs and a recently cleaned IAC. It does it's normal start, which seems like it is .25 to .5 seconds longer than most vehicles.

The jeep just started taking longer to start out of the blue last Friday. The idle was always iffy, so I had it in my schedule to go over all of the sensors that could affect that. I still have to clean the air check valve but smoother idle and after the ECM "learned" the new sensor(ACDELCO brand) starts right up with no issues and faster. Smooth idle and no jumping tach needle.

After that I re-tightened the down pipe bolts (I should replace the bolts and nuts as well) the exhaust leak I had is now almost gone which may have helped the idle as well. Once I change the #1 valve springs I will check, but so far so good. It took longer because the PO had gorilla'ed the two bolts in and one was galled up. I need to replace those bolts later on to make sure everything is OK.

Installed an Advance Adapters SYE and Tom Woods driveshaft. Took care of the vibe I had on acceleration.
Everything is smooth as can be.
