I'm picking up the ebike strictly for accompanying the young granddaughter on her trek home. She's only seven years old, and the route is about a quarter of a mile. At this stage, I'm thinking that's all I'm going to be using it for, as I have a nice bike for riding around locally and on the 30-mile-long paved trail that's near my house. I also have something like 26 vintage project bikes in the cellar, but that's a whole 'nuther thing!![]()
I ordered a Rad Rover about a month into Covid when the kids were about the same age as your grandaughter. It maxes out about 30mph and I haven't seen any of the kids go faster. It's been a fun bike and with my fat tires I can offroad it through the yard and such.
Liked mine so much the wife got one of these to go with it, a little slower than mine but still faster than the kids.
