Ford 9" swap/Triangualted mid arm progress:
Well today I got to learn a new skill, took about 9 tries total (10 ring gear bolts so 5 sets of wire ties)
Got to learn how to safety wire ring gear bolts on the ford 9" that's gonna go on my Lj
Opinions, things I could do better? I found that tucking the rest of the wire under the wire thats crossing to give me a cleaner look/an easier way of tucking away the wire rather than just leaving the rest up !
Went to summit racing and saw a 3rd member with safety wire'd ring gear bolts so I did the same. Inspiration

(not my work)
And I got done setting the gears on this thing too,Looks like a decent pattern to me !
And I got one of the frame rails sanded down, got a bit more sanding to do to get them as flat as I'd like

! You won't even tell that there used to be any control arm mounts there,I still need to do the underside but that should be easier
This was satisfying to me lol, seeing the metal come out in coils as I chiseled away
And now to finish off the blending the frame tomorrow and chopping off more brackets and do more blending

As I continue to wait on my iron man 4x4 mid arm frame Brackets so I can get the ball rolling and start doing mockup on the control arms using pvc etc. ...
