I have a clunk when reversing when applying brakes. Entire suspension/steering seems to be moving. No vibration in wheel, no death wobble. Noticed slight alignment issue just recently.

Don’t rule out motor and transmission mounts, along with every other connection under it

How bad of a clunk? A small one might just be front pads rocking in the calipers. Big clunk, what the guys indicate could be the culprit. .

Did this just happen randomly or did you or someone else do some work on the vehicle recently?

Nothing done for a while. Dont drive it alot in warm weather, have another vehicle for that. It started happening a couple months ago, thought brakes were sticking.

Big clunk, thought was brakes too. Took them off, regreased pins, pads and rotors looked good

I have had that happen many a time where a vehicle sat for too long and the brakes were sticking initially.

You need to do that with someone at the wheel you trust and you watch all the control arm connections man.

Dang, that seems like an awful of rocking when moving it. I didnt see axle lCA movement, so the frame end might be the cause. The other thing as it rocks is the watching the sway bar links. The uppers on my 99's were shot and clunked pretty bad every time you hit a bump. Might unbolt one and see if that's what's knocking around.

your lower bushing on the control arms are likely no longer in place. That is a ton of movement when you hit the brakes. You can see them moving with the sound. I would consider a full bushing job if you don’t know the condition of the rest of the bushings.

Watch the video and look here.
