What have you 3D printed for your TJ?

I spent the last day printing this for my movie room. Had a broken spool of red, non bambu, that made it a bit more difficult but I got it done after a few stops in the AMS. It’s four sections dovetailed together.

My daughter's boyfriend is getting the Bambu mini A1, she wants to buy him some filament, will any 1.75mm work? I understand there are a ton of types, not getting into that here. I know he used the Bambu printer in his last semester as an aerospace engineer to make a mars rover.

This what she bought

Mars Rover? Wow. I'm hoping to be able to print a duck...

🙂

Looks awesome! I'm coming over - what are we putting on the screen? I'm probably take a box of each... 😋

I was trying to kill a roll of Polymaker from my old Ender printer — it too broke off at the head a couple times. When it broke the latest time within in the belly of the AMS — about 30% of the roll ended up in the trash rather than using.

I don't run anything other than Bambu and I haven't had any issues. I'd rather save my frustration vs a few bucks on a roll — grab a ton on the sales and you're good-to-go.

My problem was the spool had a chunk taken out and every now and then the spool would get stuck a that point which would throw an error on the printer.

So I was researching the Eibos Tetras dryer I ordered without much thought and I’m pretty excited to get it. I think I’ll like being able to have 4 chambers that will maintain humidity and allow drying while printing.

But, watching videos sent me down a part printing rabbit hole.

First I saw this carbon fiber PETG sled

Then I see the same guy printed a giant LEGO castle

And this dude is making a drivable Lego car

Crazy what they are making and I hadn’t seen a belt printer before.

Yep, that’s it.

I did start printing out some grids for my toolbox, so I'll probably give it a try soon. Once I get the gate in the fence I can at least park cars outside the future garage and actually use it finally, I got it for Christmas last year lol. So it'll be nice to have it organized

Are you using Fusion 360? I saw this yesterday but you probably already know about it too
