Wildman's TJ is getting a face lift

Very true. Hurry up and buy new ones. I'll take them both home after sand hollow! I bet they'll fit in the passenger seat hole!!

Don't think I'll be ready by Sand Hollow...
Not this year at least... But I'll meet you in the middle between my place and yours....

But you're either a strongman or crazy if you think you'll get them inside your Jeep...
That CRD60 is one heavy pig.

You're gonna pay me before you get the axles? Cause I ain't got the funds to build the new ones prior to 2027..
Of course if I can presell my old axles I could have the new ones done sooner.

Well I pick up gig work and odd jobs...parted out a rusted Jeep...was saving up for some Jeep parts and found out my wife snagged my stack of cash in the gun safe for a new tattoo. Sigh. Keep working...

Boob job maybe but a damn tattoo? Over Jeep parts?

My only extra income is when I do those studies for the UofWA or the CLIMB Center... And with my leg messed up I've not been able to do as many as I normally would have. And then with going t be gone for 3 month next spring I'll have to see what I can do to get in on as many studies as possible.

curious why the want/need to have them narrowed? I've got a set of Tons 05+ SD/14B but to go thru the effort to do the tons and run 40/42's i want the added width the One tons provide.

Everyone has different goals or build requirements so genuinely curious the motivation to have closer to TJ width one tons.

05+ are 72" WMS which is way too wide unless you're running a buggy with like a 50" wide body so you can crawl a tire up on a tree. And even the 99-04 Dana 60 is 69.5" wide so if this was a stock width axle I'd have to try to run a 5" -7" BS rim to suck the tires back into the body. Plus WA while not as anal as they used to be frown on tires sticking out past the flares.
And I'll be honest, with my old tires & rims I was 75" outside tire to outside tire width & these were 38" TSL SX tires and I never felt unstable when side hilling. And I'm now 82" outside tire width so I don't see a need to be any wider than that.

And from a aesthetic standpoint I I don't like the rollerskate look....

This wasn't really a planned thing... I'd been looking at this axle and following it on Market place and honestly expected it to be sold. Then was on the westside for a Dental appointment and the I-90 was closed due to a mudslide. so I went up to my sisters house for the night. And this axle was in Monroe which is about 5 minutes from their house so I'd texted the guy when I got to my sisters last night. Made him an offer & asked if he was available today... Happened to be working from home today...

I took it as a sign... Then my nephews wife's car brokedown this morning so I had to help take it to a shop before I could go look at the axle. Then they opened the pass back up around 2PM today so I was able to come home.... But I might need to run back over to work on the nephews rig since he's out of town for work and the wife needs her rig.

And the already shaved 14B I've had my eye on is down south near Castle Rock so I can't make it there right now with the current road closures. So I'll reach out to the seller and see what kind of deal I might be able to work out.

Yeah all makes sense especially the trails you run. I've got another year of beating on it before I'm gonna really start messing with it.
