I know a lot of us have done some one off things, lets see what you have done to your TJ that makes it special.

For me its my hot water shower that we used to make a hot tub on the Rubicon Trail.

Lets see your's

I’ve built lots of brackets all from cardboard models that turned into metal pipe dreams come true.

I’ve built armor, valances, and other things just because it’s a challenge and it brings me a lot of fulfillment.

Is this the same dude or just the same idea

Same idea... You make a heat exchanger that your coolant flows through and then a RV pump to pump water through the heat exchanger... Blend your hot & cold water to get your desired temperature & boom you've got an onboard shower...

There used to be a few companies that sold kits but I'm not seeing them anymore.

You plumbers are like us electricians. When somebody asks "Why'd you do that?" we say "because we can" 😄 You probably find all sorts of uses for plumbing parts just like we find all kinds of uses for electrical parts. Can't count how many brackets and plates I've made from old panel covers.

What is going on here do you run water through the engine like a boat

I used a plate heat exchanger. You reroute the hose that goes to the heater through the inlet side and from the outlet side it continues on to the heater. Then run run the fresh water ( lake water ) through the second inlet and then you get hot water coming out the other side. My came out to hot so I had to add a mixing valve to cool it down
