What have you 3D printed for your TJ?

Looks like there is a date on the H2C launch. We'll see how much I regret getting the H2S on the 18th

Yes, and what a let-down the unveiling was (I watched live). There was a DNS attack on the Cloudfare servers just before the unveiling, which delayed the unveiling, so I missed it. Everyone except us in the USA can purchase it right now. I think they were aiming for prices for the various packages in the $2,500 to $3,500 range here in the USA. Supposedly, they are delaying release in the USA due to tariffs making pricing too high at the moment. I don't know if that's official, though. Lots of TDS in the comments on the live YouTube stream blaming our president...

Don't know if this is a true thing or an ai hallucination, but was googling for info and this popped up as part of the ai summary:

  • Upgrade Path: An upgrade kit is available for existing H2D/H2S users, though it is a complex process requiring a hands-on approach and may be more expensive than buying the H2C directly.

Guess they should start making them here. Looks really impressive. You still planning on getting one?

That information has been available for a few weeks, and it's about word-for-word what I saw on the Bambu web site.

Nothing like hacking shit together instead of selling what you have and buying the new one in fully functional form.

I didn’t expect them to go on sale yet. I’m sure it won’t take too long and you’ll be able to order.
They are on sale everywhere else. I was watching the comments, and saw people from asia, europe, and Canada saying they'd bought one...

Yeah, that's exactly why I opted to wait. Hopefully, they get things figured out soon!

While I know little of the process, I suspect they're just being safe when considering the money involved. I have to give BL credit, their machines are really solid designs and they appear to be fairly easy to service and maintain. Aside from not actually requiring much more than periodic cleaning and lubricating of some critical areas (based on my experience), doing something like swapping extruder gears or a hot end are pretty straight forward tasks (and well documented).

That said and to your point, the idea of buying one second hand that the previous owner modified in this way would probably pucker my ring just a little.

I'm going to sit with my X1C for now but I'm keen to see where they go with this and how well it works. They're packing some interesting technology into these desktop machines.

This is exactly why I upgraded to a Bambu from my Elegoo Centauri Carbon. I couldn't auto level and they sent me four new pressure sensors and a board to swap out myself. I'm fully capable of doing it, and it works great now, I just didn't want to. I've got enough projects, I own a 20-year-old Jeep.
