Test motor like this. Avoid remote and solenoids, can test them later ?
Motor running is the main thing, they are near 300 bucks now.
I hooked it up, shocked myself, and then used the remote. Backwards works. Forwards makes a clicking solenoid sound.
Ok, did this test and motor works both directions. I guess one of the solenoids is bad?
You could try, but honestly I don't think you will get that much.
Set a minimum price in your head ($350.00) then list it at $500.00 and see how it goes.
I haven't priced solenoids in a while so not sure what they cost now.

I'd replace with a contactor instead of solenoids. They are about $100 from Warn.

I would pull all the old wire rope off before you sell it. Make it easier on the next buyer.
I would ask $500.00 to $600.00 for it if it works.
Or don't worry about it and I will give you $250.00 as is.

Used with questionable solenoids easily go for $400 around here. If you want to figure out which solenoid it is and replace it it a good working 8274 can fetch $600. Remember they are over $3k new.
How about swapping from solenoid to contractor?
Down here you can pickup a good working one for around $500.00 one that needs work $75.00 to $350.00 depending
If you are building it for yourself absolutely. Selling it no.
I am just guessing its the solenoid. The motor works backwards and forwards, but when using the remote, it makes that click sound when trying to unreal.
Your decision on selling, personally I would advertise it and let folks know what it does and see where it leads.
