T-case shift cable question

Good morning ,

I have a 231 tcase that has a teraflex 2 lo kit in it. I am thinking about installing a savvy or similar tcase shift cable but am unsure if they are compatible. Could anyone help me out ?

I can't see why it would make a difference whether the transfer case shift lever was actuated by a linkage vs a cable.

I dont know anything about the 2 low kit, but does the new shift pattern require more throw than the stock t-case? IDK how much extra throw our cable shifters can support.

I’m not positive … but I would think so as the new shift patter is 2wd>4hi>N>4lo>2lo

It should work fine. The shift mechanism does not change with the Tera Low.

The 2 low kit simply adds an additional detent, and you feel it just like 4 hi, neutral, and 4 low.

I ran the tera low, and as I recall 2 low is between neutral and 4 lo.
