In the process of replacing the corner panel and tailgate and the gaps were pissing me off big time with both rear fenders being splayed out giving me a lovely V groove on both sides. I had a brain fart last night and figured out if the rollbar cross member was loosened (it's adjustable) a ratchet strap could suck them back in which is exactly what happened. Tightened everything back up and it stayed put. The gate is about a 1/4" high in the pic to allow for the spare tire weight. The rest of her is getting prepped for a fresh paint job.

I think only the 97-02 roll bars are adjustable (could be 97-04?). The 03-06 are welded. Great solution.
