Was in San Diego today visiting the USS Midway… the largest aircraft carrier at the end of the 2 nd world war but saw active service til 1992.

I found today on the way home from the Killbuck Jeep Jamboree that the Blue Beacon truck washes will wash your Jeep; and do a DAMN good job. My tires haven't been that clean since new.

Not sure if you're an ice hockey fan...but you, sir, are Stanley Cup Playoff ready with that beard!

I'll watch hockey in person, but don't follow it. I normally have a well mannered sort beard, but in February 2024 said I was going to let it grow until our son got his heart transplant, without knowing it would still be growing now. I've had gray/white hair since I graduated high school.

A few years ago, my Wife went to a Quilt show down there with some other Ladies. I was their driver.
I wanted to go to the Midway, so grabbed one of the bicycle/rickshaw girls to carry my ass down there.
The sight seeing was beautiful. She was a Blonde, foreign exchange student. Those 'puppies in a gunnysack' were delightful to watch.

Got my 2002 Sahara dash reinstalled after a new coat of paint. I tried something different. Instead of going the SEM documented numbered "Camel", I had the SEM shop match the color of the knee pad and panel under the steering wheel.

Drove home last night with the beamtech LEDs fully functioning. I’d forgotten how terrible they were. Bright as hell but low beams were shining up in the trees the high beams were down where the fogs run.

Replaced the whole shooting match with the Toyota H4 setup this morning. We’ll see when I head home how those are

I installed my new 60s era license plates , I ordered direct replacements with the same numbers as the original plate

The tards at the dmv sent me some random vanity plates and issued them to my jeep , I’m not even sure what they mean

Spongy pedal just as I pulled up to the house last week meant some kind of brake fail:

Pinhole leak in the hard line along the axle. Ordered a Dorman complete set of lines, since, rust belt. Of course, knocked off the bleeder nipple trying to get the rusty fitting off at the backer plate. Then, when trying to replace the wheel cylinder, one of the bolts rounded off.
Finally, ended up with this:

I'm set for my wheeling trip on Friday, at least. I'll replace the rest of the lines this winter, when I replace the rusty fenders and hood, since I'll have the front body apart/off anyway.

What makes you think that's a vanity plate? Even randomness creates meaningful patterns (although, in this case, I'm not sure that's a meaningful pattern.)
