Ok. Very positive I caused this leak replacing the shift detent o-ring.

I can't find a source for the official part. I have kits...none are an exact match, and that's what's led me here.

Anyone have a link to order the detent o-ring? Plan B is grab the detent off the Plan B $100 transfer case.

Nope. I already changed that one out and the bushing.

This is the shift detent and it doesn't even show on some of the exploded diagrams.

Yea you're probably going to have to pull your backup for now. Maybe look for busted 231s online for parts and try to get a used one.

Do you have an idea what size the oring is? I can check my kit and see if it's got something applicable and bring it with me.

I have a Rubicon with the 241or. I thought the input seal was leaking. Wrong.

It turns out 1 or more of the mounting studs go through to the fluid reservoir. One of the lower ones wasn't 100% sealed.

I had bought a seal and a new set of studs. Installing the new studs with some red loctite stopped my leak which was barely seaping but could leak a lot if that studs was really loose.

That appears to be the switch o-ring.

There's a hydraulic shop in town that has everything and old folks who know what they're doing. I'll hit them up on Monday.

RTV might fix it too.

According to the '05 parts list, it's the O-ring for this Mopar 4886473AA "screw":

That's the one we're hunting for, right?
