anyone thought of making pods for 5.25" speakers so they sit on the dash/a-pillar corners? I know Select Increments makes one for 4" speakers but was curious of one for 5.25" speakers.

Anybody taken a stab at printing these 5.25" speaker pods? Looks like Chase_C posted it in 2018 and sold a few on Etsy. I'm starting a quick PLA print for fitment right now.
I just replaced my front 4x6s with some Kickers and added an amp because I could barely hear them before. Turns out the new 4x6s and amp don't help much.
I mean something like this: https://www.extremeterrain.com/versa-pods-8717.html but that fits 5.25
Quite like this one as well. ASA-CF is comparable in look and feel, maybe a slightly more matte finish to the part. And much like ABS-GF, it seems more dimensionally stable than non fiber parts. Other than removing the supports from the counterbored holes, I did nothing to either part before bonding. The parts snapped together perfectly in a dry fit test. I'm definitely interested in using it for some other projects.
Did you see my DM?
You messed around with annealing at all?
Edit: @chili_pepper, annealing might be able to help strengthen layer lines on your shift bezel side quest, now that I'm thinking about it.![]()
a glorified Cartesian coordinate pen plotter
the H2D
At the entry price, it's not much more than a larger format X1C with some updated tech and two heads (a feature not to be underestimated)...and that's not a bad thing. If I was buying today and knew what I've learned to this point, would I buy it over an X1C? I might but only for the two heads and larger build volume. I think where they're going with it is pretty cool, but I don't really have a need for many of the features.
I'm pretty happy with the X1C/AMS as is, though I am considering the addition of one of these to the setup...

For a plotter or vinyl cutter using that tech, I think I'd want large format (roll fed with substantial width).
Ordered this last week as I had some shop cash to burn. Bambu filament swatches. Pretty small but now I know what I’m ordering.

Found it
Yes, sorry, in my excitement I forgot to provide additional details. I don't get out of the house much. lol
I got one in the box with my A1. I got a little confused when @Apparition said he bought one. I didn't know about the promotion and thought it was just a way for Bambu to market their filament.I wouldn't have considered it beforehand, but BL had some deal last month where they threw those in free if the order was over a certain amount.

I got a mouse kit with my X1C, I assume they toss things in the orders at random.

I didn’t know about the promotion either.
