What did you do to your TJ today?

Ive got one of these to instal too. Mine is bent bad. How is the quality?

Its ok in a pinch but far less beefy than the factory version. My son picked it up and asked if it was made out of aluminum... It's steel, but gauge is pretty thin.

QC is not perfect. Cylinder hole was punched too small and the latch bracket screw holes were not in the right spot, but all dremmel-able.

For our purposes, it's fine but long term plan is to put the factory one back in after we rebuild it.

Get an angry grill

Ok, I’m an old guy so I pulled out my back after replacing three wheels and posted the smart ass: “three guesses” the other day. After taking my time (and a pain pill) I got the final wheel installed.

I know I joked with you on your last post — Moab wheels are by far the best looking wheels on a TJ. Jeep is looking great!

Sprayed brake fluid on garage floor while
diagnosing intermittent clunk and lock up issue with rear drum. Blown wheel cylinder.

Know what I’m doing for Memorial Day weekend now.

At least my wife won’t grouse too much about a $200 brake parts purchase because brakes have to brake. Ball joint, shock, and tie rod are not in her regular vehicle lexicon but brake definitely is…

Out with the 35” in with the 33”. Pic for comparison.
Next up is get rid of the bushwhacker flares and try to locate some Rubi/Sahara Flares.
Rides better, maybe shocks next and research the skid plate getting tucked under more.

Initially I thought it looked funny with the extra room but I also didn’t like the 35” without going higher. (Head hurts thinking about all this lol)

Looks good to me. For some reason the tires look bigger than mine for some odd reason.
