Of course , you don't need to use an ugly kit. There are better of even stock for that sleeper approach.

If you insist on the Japanese version , the 2nd Gen. is the cleanest and if you add the 2000 GT kit they look even better.
Some of us like the Gen1 over the Gen 2.... But yes there was a LOT more offered for the Gen2 along the way.

I kinda dig it, but I tend to like 'em a little wild sometimes. Just a little candy and small-medium flake to brighten things up.

How about some 50's GM PickUp LOVE....
Never know how many of them could have a LS swapped in under those huge hoods... I've seen ones with a roots huffer stuffed under the hood & you'd never know it was there.
But NOTHING wrong with a old school SBC.... 350 & a 400 crank... Makes a nice 383 stroker. Some aftermarket aluminum heads and a MPI F.I. intake manifold with Holley Terminator or MegaSquirt ECM...
