Of course, you'll be switching from the six cylinder's 4-lug bolt pattern hubs to the V-8's 5-lug. At that point, might as well convert to disc brakes up front, as well. Me? I'd keep the baby moons. Maybe throw on some beauty rings, if'n you want to change it up a bit. But yeah, nothing wrong with a nice, clean little 200-six for running around in. Send us pics once it's in your name...;)

Yup. 4-lugs for the sixes, same as the Falcons. As for that console, I've seen worse, and that one looks like a great place for your elbow. However, I agree with you on swapping it out for a factory one.

Weird I wonder why. I wonder if it has too little low end torque for a vehicle that big or something.

They go fast with their K swaps, but they also get only a few races per block to do it. IIRC they even cracked a full billet block they had made on the first or second run with it. Idk if they're asking too much of the motor or have something wrong in their tune or what.

I have seen, and talked to guys in the pits, who are pushing 30-40 psi on Honda K blocks, cranks and heads for entire seasons. If they can't keep one together, I'll guess they are just 'Tube hacks who don't really know what they're doing, and making a show for views.

Yeah idk how much psi they run but I did a quick Google and they were doing 1400hp before going to the billet block 🤯 that is ridiculous lol

1,400 is a bit much for any factory part. 30-40 psi runs somewhere in the 800 hp range. Not knowing their setup, math says they need to push somewhere around 80 psi to make 1,400.

It is a drag-only car. Fastest MR2 in the world uses a dumb stupid Honda motor 😡 I wonder if anyone will catch up with a 2GR. Toyota V6 that is getting really popular as a swap, same Gen as my 4banger

I don't know much about the Toyota world beyond "stock Toyota good" (Toyota is my runner-up/only other choice if I can't find a Honda when I buy daily/work cars) What are the current Supras running?

Haven't the slightest idea lol I own an MR2 so I pay a bit of attention to the MR2 world

I don't know much about those cars. Actually, I’ve only known one person to be into them, and that was a rat kid back in high school. He had one that looked like yours, but gray. He never drove the MR2, so maybe it didn't run. He also had a white Fiero that he daily drove for a few months before it caught on fire one day. :sneaky: It was replaced with an early-mid '90s Camery, and that's the last I knew of that guy.

If I could remember where he stored the car, I'd bet it was still sitting there.

I definitely wouldn't say I'm an expert either. I'm not a "watcher", I don't watch YouTube videos or anything like that. I just know enough to do what I wanted to do and learned a lot of these things a long the way
