Made the mistake of calculating fuel economy yesterday, with the 33s I got 10.6 mpg, o2 sensors are new ngk, gonna swap the air filter and spark plugs see if that makes a difference, but with how much I drive this is going to get old very fast.
My Hemi does better than that when I can keep my foot out of the floor...
The highest I think I've ever gotten was 11.2 on the drive to Moab (also on 33s)
Have you run a tank through it?
Get a 4cyl manual and you’ll get 16-22 mpg.
I still wish I got a 6cyl tho but 16year old me couldn’t afford that.
Tried something a bit different, drove like a grandpa, slow acceleration barely ever going over 2000 rpms, and fuel economy this fill up was 10.2 so successfully did worse than last tank.

That’s just dandee….Dang, I am at 15.5 to 16.5 regularly. Thats commuting back and forth between Nampa/caldwell and once a week to Garden city.
Swaylock just had too much mud and dirt packed into it.
Haven’t touched the exhaust side of it yet.
I’ve got a 2005 X 6-speed w 4.56 gears and 265/75R16 on Moab wheels. 2.5 inch lift and 1” body lift. Front locker. Rear LSD. I don’t much think of it as a rock crawler as Moab was quite challenging. More lift would have been better. Doable but scary. 13 mpg on the highway.
Whaaat you can do everything but pritchett in a setup like that
I did. Still kind of sketchy.but I’m a relative novice.
Pritchet on 32" tires would be a long day
Yeah, didn’t attempt. Top of the World, Fins and Things, Poison Spider, and Hell’s Revenge were enough for me. Did not do Hell’s Gate. But my son did in his Power Wagon on 40’s.
My TJ did them. But she bitched and moaned. 4.56 was quite helpful.
