Mine for today: About a month ago, I was on my way to Belly Dance class, and went through a McDonald's drive thru. I was in the Jeep, and I had my little utility trailer on behind it - I take it out once a month or so to blow the accumulated leaves out of it, get the tires warmed up, etc, etc. Woman who had been sitting off the driver's side rear corner of the thing, suddenly decides she wants to inch up, and hit me. Broke the tail lite and a reflector.

Today, pretty much the same fucking thing. Driver who had been sitting behind me (at a red lite), decides to inch up and hit the trailer. No damage this time. I'm just sick and tired of these Florididiots hitting me - two serious collisions and four "taps" in the 8 years I've lived here.

In discussing this with today's idiot - I have come to the realization that PART of the problem is the fact that this little trailer is too low, and can't be seen by these gargantuan vehicles everybody drives today. They see the trailer and stop, but then I guess they forget its there... Another possible contributing factor MAY be that I'm in a standard transmission vehicle, I'm not sitting there with my foot on the brake, maybe they see no brake lite, see a "gap", forget the trailer, and inch up? I don't know, I've been "tapped" in both the cars too, where that wasn't an excuse.

In any event, I'm going to bolt a pair of 5 foot RED CB antennas onto the back corners of the damn trailer so people will hopefully see it!

I've said it before here, but left-lane campers. Anymore, I stay in the slow lane because it is actually faster. On any given day, its probably 5:1 (no joke) the drivers in the left lane vs right.

Hear me out here, longer whips with weighted objects at the top, then learn how to rock back-and-forth making them whip the hood or windshield of the car behind you.

You might also want to take up cage fighting in place of belly dancing, but that's just a suggestion.

How about the ones that ride your ass until you're able to move over, then they suddenly lose their urgency and ability to speed.

My theory is they think the cops can't see them behind you, but when they're up front, they get scared. Fuckin' cowards.

Yep, nobody has the balls to lead.

That's where I pull out the Top Gun move. Move to left lane, jack brakes, accelerate up behind person who is still in right lane that has been on my ass for the last 20 miles.

They generally will either slow down and I'll never see them again or they are so scared they speed up and I never see them again.

A lot of confused old people out here so they'll pull out in front of you... Then notice you're right behind them so they'll floor it and go like 30over... Then forget what's going on so you end up right behind them again... And repeat

I don't speed a lot, but I love it when some flies by me, it gives me the confidence to push it a little faster. I stay just far enough behind them to see their brake lights when they see the cops, but not be on the cops' radar.

I had a guy a couple years ago following me up the road on my way home from work. Divided highway for most of it. No one else on the road but the two of us. He was on my ass so close all I could see out my back window was a tiny bit of his hood and his windshield. I slowed down, thinking he’d just pass me (which he could have anyway), he wouldn’t pass. I speed up some and so did he. Finally I said alright I hate to do this, but I turned on the rear bumper lights for about 3 or 4 second. They aren’t face-melting light by any means, but it must have been enough because he backed of 8 - 10 car lengths the rest of the way. That’s the only time I’ve ever flashed someone with those lights.

Ive been running into a lot of idiots turning into my road from a side road and causing me to mash the breaks. I guess people see a jeep coming, and expect it to be slow enough for them to get in. Sometimes people will hear my straight piped exhaust screaming and see my stinger plowing straight at them while they start turning, they stop, and start backing up to the stop sign. Other times they mash the gas and get out of the way. But the worst offenders are the ones who turn into the main road going 5 mph, and force me to slow down from 50. Havent rear ended anyone as a result yet, but did have a situation where one guy got run off the road because he turned right on a red light while I had left arrow and was swooping in towards him. Morons

This is why I don't understand people who don't want you to pass them. I want people to pass me so that gives me more chance for the radar detector to warn me.

Making a left turn at a stop light, 2 left turn lanes turning into a road with 2 lanes. I was in the left lane, about mid-intersection granny beside me in the right lane turned sharp into the left lane, right in front of me. I guess she didn't realize what those white lines in the road were all about.

I hate it when I'm behind someone in the left lane going 10 mpg slower than I like to go, they finally pass the car on the right and they move over thankfully only to match my speed when I'm trying to pass them. Sometimes I wonder if anyone knows how to use cruise control.

People don't use cruise control - I figured that out years ago because they speed up, slow down, speed up, slow down ad infinitum. Pick a speed, ANY speed...
