What did you do to your TJ today?

Amazon order of A/C Blower, touch up paint & washer motor all defective or broken.

Well, at least they're consistent. Probably half of everything I order shows up damaged lately, mostly due to poor packing/no packing and their recent "green" parcel solutions...with any benefit of the latter being nullified by the fact that they need to ship the same thing two or three times to get it right...

Dang, even here in Phoenix it’s way too cold in the mornings for that.

I am hoping to get there around 10am, I did not service the t-case last night, built up some arrows instead. Just going to check fluid level and address a few rattles and squeaks in the rear, I may be pushing it, may 86 the 3D shoot.

How's your delivery times??

I haven't been able to get things in under a week since December - even when I use the Work's prime account

Here in the People's Republic of Maryland, they've been pretty good on delivery times overall, though they only have about a 25%-30% hit rate on their Prime next day and two day deals, regardless of time of year.

I actually fired my 97 up for the first time since the SMORR trip. I don't have the top on it, and it's been rainy & then cold. I also forgot that I hadn't really cleaned it up after that trip. There is still mud everywhere. Got to get it cleaned up for our trip to Hidden Falls next month.

Lucky. Idk what happened. Takes forever to get things all of a sudden. Most of the stuff I ordered there for my regear isnt coming in til the week of the 27th for some reason, even though I ordered it all early this week!!

No 3D shoot today. I just pulled the Jeep out of the garage, and cleaned up a bit and got some other activity areas somewhat situated again, hobby bench, bike building and archery bench. I intend to service t-case tomorrow, needed a brake from wrenching. It looks clear but wind is blowing in from Pasadena, now invisible ash storms. I can feel it in my iron lungs.

Got some room now on both sides of Jeep backed in a angle, next, a hazardous waste run and tear down rolling shelves and put some on wall.
I miss the other hobbies.

New Husky Liner floor mats in black. They fit perfect, no sliding. The material is thinner then the thick rubber distorted my heat and sliding around floor mats they replace. These weren’t cheap at $90 but they are designed and made in USA and guaranteed forever so whatever the material is it’s designed to last. The old one drivers side would slide towards the fire wall and I was constantly reaching down and slide it back. I can’t believe how good they fit- they had nubs on back and I do have carpet down, but the shape is so perfect I think with carpet put it would not slip. Calling this a win and will update post if issues.

2 years on mine and I still love them-no issues whatsoever. I got front and rear.

Dirtworx rear bumper came today. My wife would go ape if the paint fumes somehow entered the house if I decide to turn on the garage heat. Guess will have wait until Spring temps to paint.View attachment 586745

You must be new. I have an entire system of things I get done while the wife is away.

Soldering on the kitchen table, wash my bartacts, measure new seat foam on the dining room table, use the “good” vacuum in the jeep.

I could do most of that too. But my wife has the nose of a bloodhound and paint fumes, WD40, Kroil or anything that smells like chemicals has her ranting & raving like a pirate who missed his rum ration. Not worth the verbal abuse... I'll wait till the garage door can stay open for awhile.
