So I'm seeing some discrepancies online regarding the proper grease to use in my new currectlync steering. In the instructions themselves, they recommend to us a NON-SYNTETHEIC Hi-MOLY GREASE, and state they use "chevron high moly lube". I've also read people say that you shouldn't use a petroleum based grease on joints with rubber boots/parts as it will wear them sooner. This seemingly contradicts the recommendations from RockJock, as their own Johnny Joint grease is a petroleum based product, and the description of the Currectlync product recommends use of this grease. Also, im not really sure why they recommend to avoid using synthetics. Based on the description of their grease for sale, they state that synthetics may have a tendency to dry out faster. I personally haven't experienced this in practice, but I rather just stick as close to their recommendations as possible.
Anyways, the grease im leaning towards using is this "moly-graph" grease from Sta-Lube, they have it at my local harbor freight. Does anyone foresee any issues I may run into using this grease? https://www.harborfreight.com/moly-...multipurpose-lithium-grease-3-pack-97843.html
