Nth Degree Mobility Owners Resource Thread

hello,

I'm thinking about doing the TJ-6 mod and wondering if someone could tell be how much longer the "stretch" was on the LJ kit......simple enough on the lower arms ( I'll assume 10"). Was the stinger 10" longer as well?

I have the long arm 6" lift on my '03 TJ

Thanks for your help!

J

Nth Degree never offered a TJ-6 kit. They did offer a 5" stretch kit for a while. If you're building this it's going to have to all be custom.

10" is correct assuming your TJ6 will be identical to the LJ.

Thanks.

That's the plan, can use LJ hard top or soft top.

There are a couple TJ-6 builds in the members build area. If you make the body the same dimensions as a LJ then yes you can use either one of their tops.

Thanks.

well.... on that note..., using the back of a tj stretched out to use a LJ top is going to make the arms 14.5" longer than the TJ arms. I'd suggest using the tj 30ish" length nth degree arms and get rid of the stinger in favor of 4link/panhard with geometry correction putting the instant center on top of the front tire just below the 100% anti squat line. that configuration won't need the exhaust chopped up and completely changed, while incorporating the nth degree "handling" upgrade that was offered in its heyday.

I didn't mention that I will be swapping axles as a phase 2 ( winery 25-26). Phase 1 winter 24-25 is TJ6 I figured it would be easier and more cost effective to keep what I have and then consider a 4 link rear ( double triangulated, no panhard)

Hello Again! A few months ago I came here and asked about some bushing for 9th degree and you guys hooked me up! I am back again looking for some advice. My 03TJ has all 9th degree long arm setup, including springs. I feel like I hit bump stop way too fast. Do springs ware out?? I put some new Fox shocks all the way around and that seemed to help a little.. Is it time for new springs?? I hope that is what it is.

Looking for some control arm help here. I have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler LJ with an nth degree long arm kit. When four wheeling today, I bent the drivers rear lower control arm pretty badly. As far as replacing, are there any brands that make a control arm that would bolt in? Wasn’t sure if another company was making them or not. If not, what are my options? Bend it back? Have someone make me one?

Willywill989 or anyone else with the LJ kit can you measure your rear arms?
Just to confirm length.
Much appreciate!

Forgot to mention that I also have a new set of their 3" springs, front and rear, still in the box!

Would you be able to see the label part number in the box and also the part number printed on the springs?

I have acquired a few nth degree TJ springs and some of the labels are too faded but the number on the springs themselves don’t make any sense to me. I have 2 rear sets that are a little difficult to figure out. One set has a completely faded box label and the springs say 12230A and the other set says 21022AA on the box and 12130A on the springs.

I’m a bit confused as to what that means. Probably load rating but how do I read this?

I'll have to get the numbers on the springs later. Here's what's on the boxes.

The faded one reads 21011AA.

Hi guys new here and I just stumbled across this post. I just bought an LJR with full nth degree lift and armor on it. I’m kinda new to all this and had a question. The original owner said there’s a way to switch something upfront to change between off-road and onroad handling, can someone explain this to me. I pick the jeep up this weekend and he has all the paperwork. I believe it’s their 6” long arm lift

Nth Lightning rods for the stock sway bar have a lever to disconect. Flip the lever, Slide the links out, flip them to the upper bracket and flip the lever to clamp them in the storage fork. It could also have one of several aftermarket sway bars that either have disconnect hub for a single or dual rate sway bar or spring loaded lever to flip.

Post a picture of the sway bar.

Will do , I pick it up Saturday. I was looking at 2 LJRs, this one and a Rubi Sahara, as well as an ELG Lj. But the one I picked I couldn’t pass up, it’s only got 9000 miles on it.
